WDW QSD Tournament Round 2: Beast & Nobleman’s Regions – Episode 510

WDW QSD Tournament Round 2: Beast & Nobleman's Regions - Episode 510 with Aaron Rittmaster, Brady Aymond, Don Donfris, and Justin West
Host: Aaron Rittmaster
Panel: Brady Aymond, Don Donfris, Justin West

And we’re back on track! This episode had to be recorded early, due to my vacation, and as a result we had to deal with a bit of a continuity problem with ties from Round 1. The panel and the listeners agreed on the winner of the Everything Pop vs. Contempo Café tie – right down to it being a close call – with Everything Pop! squeaking by. On the other matchup though, the panel and the listeners were polar opposites. Listeners voted overwhelmingly for Landscape of Flavors, while the panel figured Cooke’s of Dublin would win that tie, 3-0. Because Cooke’s shouldn’t have been involved in the 2nd Round at all, it will not be permitted to compete to advance to the 3rd Round.

The Savory Sixteen is up next – we have no new ties to resolve before that round. You can see the outcome of the polls that were necessary to set up the Savory Sixteen here.

You can track the whole tournament at home using this spreadsheet.

WDW QSD Tournament The Beast Region: Round 1 – Episode 508

David Juart, Don Donfris, and Tim Hicks join Host Aaron Rittmaster for Quick Service Dining Tournament Round 1 in the Beast Region
Host: Aaron Ritmaster
Panelists: David Juart (The Beast Region Captain); Don Donfris, Tim Hicks

Thank you for your patience! I’m back from vacation and here is Episode 508, Round 1 of the Quick Service Dining Tournament for the Beast Region. Recording schedules also lead to a bit of confusion, as this episode was recorded before the June live show, but the June live show was published first (because of the whole “live” thing). But the victors in this Region will be featured in the very-soon-to-be-recorded second round, and there are several ties to be settled. So please get your votes in as soon as possible! (I’ll have the polls posted shortly).

You can track the whole tournament at home using this spreadsheet.

Episode 508 will be late

Quick Service Dining Tournament LogoMy apologies. Best laid plans and all that. But this week’s panel episode of the DISDads Podcast will not post until Wednesday or Thursday.

I thought I’d brought the recording will me and could edit it during break time. Unfortunately, the copied file was corrupt, so it couldn’t be edited. I won’t be able to get access to the file again until Imreturn home.

Again, sorry for the delay. We’ll get the show back on track as quickly as possible around the middle of this week.
