My Walt Disney World, Mickey Group, Round 1: Episode 33

Host – Aaron Rittmaster
Panel – Mark Pratt, Nathan Trent, Paul Hajjar, Jason Knox

Episode 33 marks the beginning of the “My Walt Disney World” tournament, based on a series of threads that Nathan Trent posted to the discussion boards. The panel begins the process of determining which is the most important/signicant/quintessential experience at Walt Disney World. Like an MVP award in sports, everyone has their own criteria, so the matchups make for a lively discussion.

Here are the Mickey Group matchups, in case you want to follow along at home. And here are the listener poll results for this round, if you’d like to compare them to the panel’s selections. We’ll be continuing with this tournament through the summer, releasing a new podcast each Sunday. Next week, you’ll hear Round 1 in the Pluto Division.

Blue Sky Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Episode 32

Host – Aaron Rittmaster
Panel – Eric Anderson; Paul Hajjar; Nathan Trent

In Episode 32, the DISDads panel completed our wishful thinking look at the future of the Walt Disney World theme parks. The panel suggested Disney’s Animal Kingdom attractions that have run their course and are ripe for removal. Next, we addressed attractions in need of major overhauls. We took a break so that Nathan Trent could take a long-overdue turn on the hot seat for 10 Questions. And nally, we discussed new attractions that would help bring Disney’s Animal Kingdom forward into the future.
