DISDads Podcast PLUS – Episode 31 – WDW Planning for Large Groups

Episode 31 - WDW Planning for Large Groups

Host: Aaron Rittmaster
Co-Hosts: Tim Hicks & Willie Crocker

This week, host Aaron Rittmaster and co-hosts Tim Hicks and Willie Crocker turn their attention to managing travel at Walt Disney World for larger groups. As travel professionals, we’ve noticed several issues related to Walt Disney World group travel, in particular, that may be getting in the way of guests having the best possible WDW experience when traveling with larger groups. We’ve also noticed that there seem to be more people talking about taking extended family trips or friends & family group trips to Walt Disney World, as they get comfortable with traveling again.

We offer our thoughts regarding special considerations for everything from extended family groups or 3 or 4 rooms, mid-size groups of 10-20 rooms, and large groups that may need even more.

Finally! We get to share a new trip report with you — and it’s a double.

Joe and Jay were recorded live from Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, respectively. DISDads Podcast PLUS – Episode 28: Re-Theming Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Part 2)

Aaron, Willie, Tim, and Jay continue the Disney's Hollywood Studios re-theming discussion

Host: Aaron Rittmaster
Co-Hosts: Tim Hicks & Willie Crocker
Special Guest: Jay Crocker

Special Guest Jay Crocker is back with Host Aaron Rittmaster and co-hosts Tim Hicks and Willie Crocker. The panel continues last week’s discussion of the parts of Disney’s Hollywood Studios that have been left behind with the openings of Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge that last couple of years. We consider how the existing older attractions might be re-freshed with new theming and design, rather than needing to be replaced by entirely new attractions – and how doing so might help create a more cohesive feel to the entire park.

We spent most of last week looking at Sunset Boulevard. In Part 2, we cover the rest of the park, beginning with Echo Lake.

Episode 27 - Re-Theming Disney's Hollywood Studios

Host: Aaron Rittmaster
Co-Hosts: Tim Hicks & Willie Crocker
Special Guest: Jay Crocker

The panel looks at the parts of Disney’s Hollywood Studios that have been left behind with the openings of Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge that last couple of years. We consider how the existing older attractions might be re-freshed with new theming and design, rather than needing to be replaced by entirely new attractions – and how doing so might help create a more cohesive feel to the entire park.

The recording for this show went VERY long. To make it more manageable, this is Part 1, covering the introductory material and our look at Sunset Boulevard. We’ll cover the rest of the park next week in Part 2.
