Option 1 would, of course, obviate the “contest” between the drafters, since they’d all end up with identical preliminary round “scores.”
Option 2 is just based on the numbers.
- 14 Magic Kingdom locations are in
- 13 Epcot locations
- 13 Resort hotel locations
- 12 Disney Springs locations
- 7 Animal Kingdom theme park and 5 Hollywood Studios locations would be distributed to the other regions as “wild cards”
Option 3 is the mathematical solution. Just treat the draft order as the seeding order, and construct a huge “S-Curve” from Pick 1 to Pick 64. This has the advantage of evenly distributing each captain’s picks, but leaves each region without a clear collective identity.

Option 4…
Where A, B, C, D represents one of the 4 “Champions”
Where “Seeds” are the Draft picks
A, B, C, D (1) vs B, C, D, A (16)
C, D, A, B (8) vs D, A, B, C (9)
D, A, B, C (5) vs B, C, D, A (12)
A, B, C, D (4) vs C, D, A, B (13)
B, C, D, A (3) vs C, D, A, B (14)
D, A, B, C (6) vs A, B, C, D (11)
C, D, A, B (7) vs A, B, C, D (10)
B, C, D, A (2) vs D, A, B, C (15)
That’s essentially the same as the giant S-curve.
