Good show… my #1 choice overall has survived to the final 4.
Not sure what the final 2 will be…though I suspect it will be 2 uniquely Disneyland Resort attractions will meet in the end.
Great job in setting up the bracket Kevin. Make me wonder how the My WDW tourney would have shaped up if I had gone with a different arrangement?
I would like to comment on how Kevin’s Bracket has differed from the My WDW Bracket…
Kevin set the brackets up based on his personal selections in logical categories… much like the Bunk Madness (Arron?)…and the Munch Madness (Eric).
“My” Walt Disney World was set up based on input from polls posted on the DIS in the Disdads Forum Section…and I did not limit it to Attractions or Shows… It could have been food, restaurant, stores, even a parks Icon… it was more of about the WDW EXPERIENCE. (I did limited my polls to Parks…if I had it to do over again… I would expand it to Disney Springs and Resorts.) And I’m still waiting on my royalties check from Disney on the whole “My Disney Experience” thing.
My text from the original post reads ad follows…
[What we are looking for from each of you give several (at least 10, no more than 20) “Attractions” regarding the {PARK}. By “Attractions” I mean, Rides, Shows, Parades, Resturants, Experience, etc…that when someone ask you… “Hey, (name)…what is it that you like so much about the {PARK}?”
I’m not looking for you to rank these…just what you think of when you think Magic Kingdom. This is “My Magic Kingdom.”
I encourage you to make your list without influence from others posts…make your list first then read the others and edit your post later if needed…but I think the first gut impression will probably be best. Cause this is your {PARK}…not Nate’s.]
My first inclination was to make my brackets for each park… but ultimately decided to mix it up as a weighted bracket as best I could with the data I had collected.
I’m not saying one method is better than the other. I’m just pointing out the My WDW bracket was about something different than any other Bracket done on the podcast.
PS… Mr. Smyth and Mr. Jones were robbed…last I checked the poll was tied… and I think they could beat World of Color easily. Curse you late voters. (Said in my best Dr. Doofenshmirtz impression)
