Shanghai: July 19, 2002
The Walt Disney Company signs a Letter of Intent with the city of Shanghai, China to build a new Disneyland-style theme park within the city. When built, it will become the sixth “Magic Kingdom” in the world, and the fourth Disney park in Asia.
So what are the other three in Asia? I know they have Tokyo and Hong Kong.
