We get a little bit different kind of DAD Show this week, as I talk with Alan Fuller about his trip to Walt Disney World for a reunion with his fellow members of the Walt Disney World All-American Orchestra. First, we learn interesting tidbits about the history of Walt Disney World performing arts programs. Then, we get to hear about reuniting members of several different All-American College Orchestra groups to perform live at Walt Disney World, roughly 30 years after they’d last performed (and really, this particular group had never performed together before this performance in Downtown Disney). We also get to hear about the non-band part of Alan’s trip, the last part of which was accompanied by his husband Joe.
The DAD Show is your humpday Disney vacation fix. Our intro and outro music was created and performed by Mitch Furman.
The DAD Show is sponsored by Kingdom Strollers, Orlando’s Premium Stroller and Crib Rental source.
