Recently, Disney has begun releasing a number of its older live-action titles on single disk DVD “sets,” generally grouped along some theme. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to what they release when and for how long it is available. Here are a few classic Disney finds currently available from – but some have fewer than 10 copies still in stock:

1. Disney Classics 4-Movie Collection: The Gnome-Mobile, Darby O’Gill & the Little People, The One & Only Genuine, Original, Family Band, and The Happiest Millionaire – four titles from the late 60s that really evoke that classic Disney live-action movie feel. It’s hard to beat four movies on one DVD, currently listing for about $15.

2. Another collection of Disney classic films, this time sharing the theme of featuring the physical comedy genius of Don Knotts, includes 1970s classics The Apple Dumpling Gang, The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again, Gus, and Hot Lead & Cold Feet. This one’s currently only $13.99!

3. The next thematic set includes all four of the original Herbie movies – The Love Bug, Herbie Goes Bananas, Herbie Goes To Monte Carlo, and Herbie Rides Again. Thankfully it excludes the awful 2005 Lindsey Lohan reboot Herbie: Fully Loaded – in retrospect, one of the most ironic movie titles of all time. And again, all for just $13.99.

4. Finally, we get the two-movie disk set of the Haley Mills classics The Parent Trap and The Parent Trap II (and including a special feature on the making of The Parent Trap). This one is under $10!
