DAD Show #207 – Epic Canadian Road-Trip with Bob Chavez

DAD Show #207 - Bob Chavez talks to host Aaron Rittmaster about his family's EPIC Canadian Road-Trip
Bob Chavez is back on the DAD Show, this time with the whole crew in tow for an EPIC Spring Break road trip from St. Louis to Toronto, Canada. The Chavez clan stops along the way in Detroit, catches an NBA basketball game (along with a player’s autograph on a pair of shoes too big even for Bob), visits the Stanley Cup, allows a stranger to borrow some of the children at a museum, and discovers the wonders of poutine and waterfalls.

The DAD Show is sponsored by Kingdom Strollers, Orlando’s Premium Stroller and Crib Rental source.

DAD Show #120 – Canada Road Trip for the Soccer Women’s World Cup with Tim Brooks

11665579_10207104798047859_7640983195898855253_nThis week on the DAD Show, we take a road trip to Canada with Tim Brooks. Tim talks about planning a vacation around a sports “Big Event” (in this case, the Soccer Women’s World Cup quarterfinals). And along the way we discuss everything from navigating the Canadian border crossing (complicated by a multi-state, even international, manhunt for an escaped prisoner), the nutritional implications of Timbits for lunch, hotel and transportation planning for a major sporting event vacation, and tips for restaurant choices in Ottawa.

The DAD Show is sponsored by Kingdom Strollers, Orlando’s Premium Stroller and Crib Rental source.
