DAD Show #196 - Father-Son WDW and DDCC5 with Nathan Trent
Nathan Trent is back on the DAD Show this week, offering another perspective on DDCC5. While Nate was around for some of the DISDads Club Convention shenanigans, he was primarily at Walt Disney World to enjoy the time there one-on-one with his son. He talks about how they worked in some of both.

The DAD Show is sponsored by Kingdom Strollers, Orlando’s Premium Stroller and Crib Rental source.

DISDads Podcast #468 - Strange But True Tales of Disney Vacations with James Cameron, Tim Hicks, and Chris Papciak. Host: Aaron Rittmaster
Host: Aaron Rittmaster
Panel: James Cameron, Tim Hicks, Chris Paciak

The graphic was fun to create, but I hope it doesn’t oversell this week’s show. The panel had fun recounting stories of strange or odd things that they saw or experienced while on a Disney vacation. But we’re sure that there are listeners who have even better stories, and we’d love to hear about them!

This week, while a few remaining DISDads Club Convention dads continue entertaining us with Live Streams and Periscopes from Walt Disney World, the podcast panel talks about other amusement parks around the United States. What about those local and regional amusement destinations – those that are more than a carnival but not quite a theme park?

Which are your favorite non-Disney, non-Universal theme parks in the U.S.? What do you like most about them? Leave a comment here on the blog; Email us at podcast@disdads.com; tweet us at DisDadsPodcast on Twitter; and check out our DISDads Podcast Facebook page.

DAD Show #194 – Meet Enchanted Tiki Talk Podcast (Repeat) – Remembering Alan Mize

DAD Show #194 - Meet Enchanted Tiki Talk Podcast (Repeat) - Remembering Alan Mize
I’m headed to Disney’s Hollywood Studios shortly to meet up with a whole bunch of other DISDads who are here at Walt Disney World for the 5th Annual DISDads Club Convention. But it seemed appropriate to temper the joy at spending time in our “happy place” with friends new and old by memorializing the recent passing of Alan Mize, one of the co-hosts of the Enchanted Tiki Talk Podcast. The DISDads community continues to offer its thoughts, prayers, and support to Alan’s family, friends, and his Enchanted Tiki Talk Podcast brothers, Keith and Sean.

This show was originally released back on March 12, 2014 as DAD Show #50 – Chatting with the Enchanted Tiki Talk Podcast, thought it’s been moderately re-edited for this repeat. As I mention at the close of the show, the GoFundMe campaign to support the future education of Alan’s young daughter is ongoing. If you are able, I encourage you to contribute to it.

The DAD Show is sponsored by Kingdom Strollers, Orlando’s Premium Stroller and Crib Rental source.
