MCU Phase III: Things Are Getting Strange – Episode 446

MCU Phase III: Things Are Getting Strange - Episode 446 with Erica Anderson, Richard Grady, and Aaron Rittmaster
Host: Aaron Rittmaster
Panel: Eric Anderson & Richard Grady

We take a break from our “If I Ran” series to preview the impending release of what many believe to be the linchpin of Phase III of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Doctor Strange will officially be released in the United States on November 4, 2016. Without getting particularly spoilery (caution: we do discuss some plot issues that have been widely discussed publicly, and talk about some casting issues in some depth), the panel’s goal is to provide a bit of background and context for one of the lesser-known MCU heroes, heading into the movie’s premiere.

Will you be checking our Doctor Strange on opening weekend? What are your expectations heading into the movie? Tell us about it! Leave a comment here on the blog; Email us at podcast@disdads.com; tweet us at DisDadsPodcast on Twitter; and check out our DISDads Podcast Facebook page.

Please consider sharing your opinions about our podcasts with us. For just one more day, you can fill out DISDads Podcast Listener Survey anonymously if you prefer. But if you include your contact information, you’ll be entered to win a pair of DISDads Coffee Mugs, just like the ones in the DISDads Shop.

If you enjoyed the podcast, we’d also really appreciate it if you took a moment to leave us a review on iTunes (If you didn’t enjoy the show, feel free to ignore that last link).

Next week, we’ll be returning to the “If I Ran” series, with a LIVE show over at DisTalk Radio at 8:00 p.m. Central Time. The panel will give their answers to what they would do if they ran Disneyland Resort – but we’d love to have your feedback live too! You can join us in the chatroom at DisTalk Radio (registration required) and we’ll even offer an opportunity to join the Skype conversation during the show.

DAD Show #183 - Adults-Only WDW (and Hurricane Matthew Extension) with Jay Gilbert
Jay Gilbert returns to the DAD Show this week, talking about his recent Adults-Only trip to Walt Disney World, as he and Leslie celebrated their anniversary at their favorite place. We hear about their experiences in Disney Springs, at multiple Walt Disney World resort hotels, exploring the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, and tackling a four parks in one day challenge — and that was all BEFORE Hurricane Matthew caused an unplanned extension of their vacation!

The DAD Show is sponsored by Kingdom Strollers, Orlando’s Premium Stroller and Crib Rental source.

Beercast X: Winter Beers – Episode 442

Beercast X: Winter Beers - Episode 442
Host: Aaron Rittmaster
Panel: Dave Juart, Don Donfris, Richard Grady, Justin West

The Beercast is back! The 10th installment in the Beercast series focuses on “Winter Beers” – heartier fare, like Porters, Stouts, and Barleywines. And we give our nod to Fall by trying some new pumpkin beers as well. We also introduce Dave’s new project, along with fellow DISDad John Peters, DisTalk Radio’s Weekly Pint Podcast. The Weekly Pint Podcast looks at beer at Walt Disney World a pint at a time – in shorter, 15-20 minute, episodes that come out on Thursdays. In addition to listening to it as a podcast, you can catch up on the Weekly Pint on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Central Time, when the entire Weekly Pint Podcast catalog will be streaming at DisTalkRadio.

What are some of your favorite Winter beers? Is there a pumpkin beer out there that’s worth trying? Tell us about it! Leave a comment here on the blog; Email us at podcast@disdads.com; tweet us at DisDadsPodcast on Twitter; and check out our DISDads Podcast Facebook page.

Sapphire Falls, WWoHP, MNSSHP and Food & Wine with the Matt Family
It’s a family affair on the DAD Show this week, as David Matt is joined on the show by his daughters Christina, Kathryn, and Cecilia as they talk about their Fall Family vacation in Orlando. A plan that originally had them headed to Washington, D.C., morphed into a plan that included Universal Orlando’s newest resort hotel, both Universal theme parks, the Villas at Wilderness Lodge, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

The DAD Show is sponsored by Kingdom Strollers, Orlando’s Premium Stroller and Crib Rental source.
