DAD Show #176 – The Harbesons vs. the Midwest (But Mostly Wisconsin)

Harbesons vs the Midwest (but mostly Wisconsin)
This week, we continue the discussion with Mark Harbeson about his family’s road trip across the Great Plains and the Midwest. Last week, we left off as the family was wrapping up a caving tour in the Black Hills. We pick back up with the long trek across Nebraska and Iowa, with stops along the way for the legendary Carhenge, the only World War I museum in the United States, walking out of a Federal Reserve building carrying bags of money, the KC Tour de BBQ and the St. Louis Arch. But mostly, it’s about Wisconsin.

The DAD Show is sponsored by Kingdom Strollers, Orlando’s Premium Stroller and Crib Rental source.

Episode428
Host: Aaron Rittmaster
Panel: Kevin Crossman, Eric Anderson, David Platt, and Jeff Swearingen

The DISDads Podcast “My Disneyland” Tournament draws to a close with the Championship Road, recorded live. Which Disneyland attraction took the title of DISDads champion? Was it Peter Pan’s Flight, the quintessential Disney dark ride? World of Color, the show that changed crowd patterns at Disneyland Resort? Indiana Jones Adventure, Disneyland Park’s most recently-added E-Ticket attraction? Or was it the new kid on the block, Radiator Springs Racers?

Did the panel get it right? Is there something that they forgot to take into consideration? Tell us about it! DAD Show #174 – Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas with Brad Coates

DAD Show #174 - Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas with Brad CoatesBrad Coates returns to the DAD Show this week, to share the story of his Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Brad gives us a great overview of the Oasis of the Seas ship and the Royal Caribbean cruise experience. (Stay tuned after the closing music for the details of the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad, customer service experience. Despite that experience, Brad explains why he’s willing to give Royal Caribbean another chance to show they can do better).
