Panel: Tony McDaniel, Joe Masters, Ariel Masters, Jason Powless, Mikaela Rittmaster, Noah Treichler

Editor’s Note: This should be the last of the late show postings. We should be back on track with this coming Wednesday’s DAD Show. Thank you for your patience as I get back in the swing of things post-vacation.

The June LIVE show features a review of the DISDads Dream Cruise, from a panel of participants who had just returned home from the group’s 4-Night Bahamas Cruise on the Disney Dream, featuring a port of call at Nassau, the Bahamas and a double-dip of Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. The group discusses their experiences with the ship’s various amenities, shows and entertainment, talks ports and excursions, rotational dining, Mickey Bars, ice cream, adults-only fine dining, Fish Extender gifts and much, much more!

DAD Show #114 – Coming Home to WDW with the Joshua Shusterman

11222437_10153420287249461_4761273077926580710_oSorry for the very late posting of this DAD Show. I didn’t get as much editing done prior to leaving on vacation as I’d hoped, and had some Internet connectivity issues when I returned home. Joshua’s trip report is definitely worth a listen!

On this week’s DAD Show, Joshua Shusterman discusses a May Walt Disney World vacation full of firsts. It was his family’s first Disney trip since moving back to the mainland United States, their first vacation driving to Walt Disney World, Josh ran in his first runDisney event, and many of the family’s Walt Disney World experiences were firsts. This week’s trip report covered it all – parks and attractions, dining, and the details of Josh’s experience at the last (at least for now) Expedition Everest Challenge.

The DAD Show is your humpday Disney vacation fix. Our intro and outro music was created and performed by Mitch Furman.

The DAD Show is sponsored by Kingdom Strollers, Orlando’s Premium Stroller and Crib Rental source.

Happy Father’s Day fellow DISDads! Our latest Beercast edition features a discussion of some harder-to-find beverages. First, the panel samples Strongbow Hard Cider, a beverage that was first mentioned a couple of Beercasts ago, when we talked about the Beers of the UK Pavilion. Next, we try the Founder’s All Day IPA Session Beer. Finally, we enjoy the big flavors (and punch) of Great Divide Brewing Co.’s Yeti Imperial Stout.

What do you think of these beverages? Are there some others that you’d like to see show up on a future Beercast? Tell us about it! Planning for a WDW Winter Vacation – Episode 302

Frozen takes over the greenhouse too?Host: Aaron Rittmaster
Panel: James Cameron, Richard Grady, Matt Weier

The week, the panel discusses planning ahead for a Winter vacation to Walt Disney World. We talk about planning timelines, knowing when (amongst some of the lowest crowd levels of the year) the crowd levels spike during this time frame, and setting expectations when park hours are shorter and water rides tend to be in refurbishment mode.

Walt Disney World vacation packages for 2016 will be open for booking starting Monday, June 22, 2015. Consider contacting our podcast sponsor, Fairytale Journeys, about your 2016 Walt Disney World vacation.

What are your favorite things about January/February Walt Disney World vacation? What are your favorite tips for WDW Winter travel? Tell us about it! DAD Show #112 – Aparicios Return to Orlando

On this week’s DAD Show, Oscar Aparicio and his daughter Lexi look back at a couple of short visits to Universal Orlando theme parks, and forward to their impending Walt Disney World vacation. These are their first visits back to the parks since moving away from Orlando about a year ago. They talk about Lexi’s triumphant choir trip to Universal for a competition; some of the differences in their approaches to the parks, due to their proximity to them; and more! (Note: Any listeners who know Oscar know that recording a show with him that could be classified as “CLEAN” was a challenge. I hope the editing captures him accurately without detracting from your enjoyment of his report).
