Disneyland:  August 3, 1960
Raymond Sleeper, an eight year old boy from Hawaii is the 10-millionth passenger to ride the Disneyland-Santa Fe Railroad.  Walt Disney himself joins Raymond for his historic ride.
  
Euro Disneyland:  August 3, 1988
Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse are the featured guests at a special groundbreaking ceremony for the all-new resort to be built near Paris, France. The resort is designed to include the new Euro Disneyland theme park, with future expansion space for another theme park when the resort growth warrants it, as well as five resort hotels, and a special metro station and line connecting the resort to the city
 
Tokyo Disneyland:  August 3, 1994
The 150-millionth guest is welcomed at Tokyo Disneyland

 

Walt Disney World:  August 3, 2003
Pre-opening membership sales begin for Disney Vacation Club‘s newest resort property, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.   The resort, modeled after the famed upstate resort community of Saratoga Springs,  first popularized in the late 1800’s,  is under construction across the lake from Downtown Disney on the site of the former Disney Institute and is scheduled to open in May 2004
