Don Donfris is back this week on the DAD Show, talking about his family’s Christmas vacation to the Smokey Mountains. We talk about shows and attractions at Dollywood as well as activities in the surrounding area that helped round-out Don’s family’s week. He gives us his take on everything the aquarium, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a moonshine shop, a museum dedicated to the Titanic, and the Biltmore Estate mansion (spoiler alert – all thumbs up) as well as his impression of nearby Gatlinburg (spoiler alert – not impressed, other than the moonshine place. There are at least three on the main drag).
The DAD Show is sponsored by Kingdom Strollers, Orlando’s Premium Stroller and Crib Rental source.
Have you taken a vacation to the Smoky Mountains? Would you consider it an alternative to a Disney vacation, or something entirely different? Have a trip report you’d like to share?
