Today in Disney History

Disneyland:  July 27, 1962
The Firehouse Five Plus Two (a spare-time musical group made up of Walt Disney Studios writers, animators, producers and directors including Ward Kimball, Don Kinch, Danny Alguire, George Probert, Frank Thomas, Dick Roberts, Eddie Forrest) perform at the Golden Horseshoe Saloon in Frontierland.  Together with their performance the following day, the tracks are then put onto an album and released by Good Time Jazz Records – Firehouse Five Plus Two at Disneyland.   The features performances on the album are:

  3. You’ve Got to See Momma Ev’ry Night or You Can’t See Momma at All
  4. Lassus Trombone
  5. Coney Island Washboard
  6. Ja-Da
