This week, the talk on the Facebook page, discussion boards, and in chat have frequently turned to Disney’s new console video game DISNEY INFINITY. I won’t go into detail about the game here – we’ll save that for a full review from a Dad who is more of a gamer than I am, to give the subject its due. But until then, here are affiliate links to DISNEY INFINITY-related items, including the game itself, a couple of favorite Playsets and Figures, and Power Disks, all of which extend and enhance game functionality.

1. DISNEY INFINITY Video Game (Includes: 3 INFINITY Play Sets: Monsters University, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Incredibles AND 3 INFINITY Characters: Mr. Incredible, Jack Sparrow, and Sulley). This link will take you to the XBOX 360 version of the game. Make sure you select the correct version for the console that you’re using before placing your order. Versions for Nintendo Wii and Wii U; Playstation 3; XBOX 360; and Nintendo 3DS are available. All of the Play Sets, Characters, and Power Disks are cross-platform compatible.

2. DISNEY INFINITY Playsets – Right now, Amazon is carrying the Cars and Lone Ranger playsets. Various retailers are offering retailer-exclusive versions. Look for new playsets to be released fairly regularly, as new Disney films are released.

3. DISNEY INFINITY Figures are sold either individually or as 3-figure themed packs. My favorite of these right now is the Villains 3-Pack, which includes Davy Jones, Randall, and Syndrome.

4. DISNEY INFINITY Power Disks provide a number of in-game improvements/enhancements, both in standard game play and in the especially popular Toy Box Mode.

5. Finally, how do you keep track of all of these little pieces as your DISNEY INFINITY collection expands? How about a DISNEY INFINTY Play Zone from PDP? It gives you room to securly store (and even transport) up to 17 Figures, 3 Playsets and 20 Power Discs. Maybe most importantly, it’s a good way to keep your spouse from complaining about your sprawling DISNEY INFINITY collection!
