  1. Hmmm… I love food, but I guess I’m not much of a “foodie.” Either that or I just don’t like to spend more than I have to. Only a few of these restaurants are even on my list of favorites.

  2. Andy – one of my goals for this tournament is to expose folks to restuarants that, for one reason or another, they may not have tried yet. Hopefully, some of the discussion with encourage people to give someplace new a chance!

  3. I get it, Aaron. I meant that more as a comment about myself and my family’s cuisine preferences. There are a few on here that are high on my list to try if I get a chance.

I always love the tournament type of podcasts and I look forward to seeing where the dads go with this one and seeing how the other brackets shape up!

And I won’t even mention the “Q” word.

  4. well, it isn’t really ‘fair’, but I voted for the places i’d eaten, and would go back to. (meaning, I probably shouldn’t have voted for Fulton’s Crab House. That place did try to kill me.)

  5. One factor is that most folks will only have 1-2 table services per day during a vacation whereas they’ll probably hit close to a dozen rides/attractions – so I suspect not many folks will have eaten at most of the restaurants in the contest (unless they have the good fortune to make a LOT of Disney trips). But the discussions should be great for giving folks a chance to talk about the ones they have been at and sharing info.

  6. Just catching up on some light reading and I have to agree with Andy. I’ve only eaten at three of these restaurants and only two of the Downtown Disney Bracket ones. And I’ve been five times to Disney in the last 380 days.

I think the problem we always run into is A.) We have kids that wouldn’t appreciate 85% of these restaurants and B.) We would much rather eat in the parks than leave the parks for a meal at a resort/Downtown Disney.

Of course, maybe I just vacation differently.
