DISDads Running Shirt Pre-order Poll

Sample dri-fit t-shirtSorry for the delay, but I’m finally gearing up to be able to offer pre-orders for new DISDads running shirts. The plan this time is to handle the orders a bit differently. I’ll be taking pre-orders, with a pre-order window of about one month. At the end of the month, pre-orders will be closed and the printer will run exactly the number/size of shirts we order. It looks like pricing will be $30/shirt (XXL, XXXL, and XXXXL shirts cost extra), but that price may go up slightly depending on final design decisions, or down slightly depending on number of shirts ordered.

The picture included here is of the shirt we would be ordering, in red. We are checking into whether it’s possible to offer additional colors without affecting the price too badly. As for design, the plan is to put the round DISDads logo on the back of the shirt. On the front of the shirt, I’m thinking of putting “Nemesis Challenge” across the chest, sort of like a sash, in black – but at a steep enough angle that any body parts that might get irritated by the screen printing will be avoided. As for colors, we’re currently looking into offering yellow and/or white in addition to red. If there’s significant interest in another color, let me know in the comments below. Please answer the poll below, as it will help us to gauge what final pricing will look like (if we order more shirts, prices go down).

If DISDads dri-fit running shirts were available for pre-order, how many would you order?

  • 1 (48%, 11 Votes)
  • 2, but only if different colors are available (30%, 7 Votes)
  • 2 (13%, 3 Votes)
  • more than 2, if multiple colors are available (9%, 2 Votes)
  • More than two, even if all one color (0%, 0 Votes)

Total Voters: 23

  1. Since a few people have asked, at the moment, I’m actually leaning toward leaving the “Nemesis Challenge” off the front of the shirt, especially if we can get different colors. The two “sides” of the challenge could settle on different colors to wear for the half, and non-runners wouldn’t have to be embarrassed about wearing a challenge shirt when they didn’t run.

Also, if you need an alternative to paying via credit card online, don’t worry – we can work that out. I process all of these orders myself, so I can just make arrangements iwth people individually to take a check if need be.

  2. The plan right now is to use the same logo design on the back of the shirt. It’s the shirt itself that’s different. We’ll see about an alternative design down the road – perhaps a collection of shirts with some of the Beverly slogan contest winners on them.
