Best Breakfast at Walt Disney World: Episode 43

Host: Aaron Rittmaster
Panel: Jason Gilbert, Dave Compton, Todd Breaux

In this episode, the panel members each share their Top 5 Walt Disney World breakfast options. Though there is surprisingly little overlap among the panelist’s lists, one thing is clear – the Polynesian Resort is the King of Breakfasts!

During a break in the discussion of Top 5 breakfast lists, first-time panelist Todd Breaux takes the hot seat and answers 10 Questions.

  1. I agree with Todd. Crystal is in our #1 slot. Its in the best park, it gets you in the gate extra early. It is a buffet, it has the awesome waffles, plenty of Bacon.
Character breakfast with Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and T-I- Double Gah- Errrr.
Look at my Photos on our FB trip. Those are some of the best pictures.

Same here with us. On a week-long trip, we might only do breakfast once or twice . . . but we’ll always get into the Crystal Palace at 8:10 on a non-EMH morning. We have the chance to walk down Main Street with almost nobody around! Plus, we’ll get walked over to Space Mountain before the crowd at the entrance can get there.

I hate to disagree, but Poly is not in top 5.

Assuming you get the ADR before park opens, the park breakfasts definitely rock.

Best is CRT Breakfast – castle, princess, stuffed French toast.
Next is Akershus – hot family style & cold buffet.
Tusker House – Pog juice. 1st in line for KS ride.
Cape May – Excellent food. Very relaxed restaurant.
Trail’s End – Buffet at Fort Wilderness. Fresh and lowest price.

Love the Poly for breakfast. But Norm pointed out Trail’s End, which is a really good hidden gem.

I think this was my favorite podcast to be a part of. Talking about our favorite meal and all of our favorite places. Thanks for the invite as always.

I don’t really want to Rank mine… but… I’ve had all of the following and would go again.

Chef Mickey’s… Crystal Palace… Pepper Market… Whatever the food court at the POP who’s name eludes me right now.

I would say My Favorite would be Crystal Palace…

However if your on the Dining plan… The Pepper Market at Coranado Springs is hard to beat… a full Buffet including made to order Omlets all for 1 Counter Service Credit.

Living with the Land has the best breakfast… oh, wait. Wrong podcast. Nevermind.

My experience with breakfast is somewhat similar to Aaron’s. We don’t like to get up any earlier than we have to, but like to hit RD and not waste time during those 2 first hours worrying about food. Our favorite breakfasts are typically the food court at whatever resort we happen to be at. I usually run down and grab something to bring back to the room for us to eat as we get ready to go.

DW and I were both suprised that pre-rope drop park access wasn’t a factor in any of the breakfasts too. We love Crystal Palace specifically for that reason. That being said the Tonga Toast at Capt Cooks was a great suggestion for an out of the park breakfast.
