  1. I’ve got to give the nod to Wishes. It will be a tough match up with Dole Whip in the second round, but I think the winner of that match up will slip past the most over rated attraction at WDW, IMO.

In the bottom half, I have to give the nod to Rock n Roller Coaster. I think it easily defeats JC and will take a slight edge against Dumbo to advance.

  2. Sorry Andy – I had the wrong poll posted. I’ve not posted the correct poll. I apologize for making your comment look like you’re confused. :p

  3. TSM gets my nod for the top half due to the fact that the ride is fun for all ages and it never gets old. Plus, I always kick butt.

As for the second half, SE is one of those timeless rides that has A/C. What other ride allows you to send an email of yourself making funny faces in a video??

  4. Yeah, thanks Aaron. Apparently the Pluto bracket just can’t stop causing chaos. It just has to keep making me look confused.

I had to go with Toy Story Mania and the Haunted Mansion. Living with the Land is one of my favorites, but Toy Story is a cutting edge ride that has put a new twist on the dark ride, so I don’t see how I can’t give it the advantage.

I’m going with Haunted Mansion for the bottom. It is just a timeless classic. I could almost go for Spaceship Earth, but I just can’t see it beating Haunted Mansion… Unless Nate stands up firm for it and uses some of Aaron’s lawyer talk in the podcast.

  5. My picks are TSMM and HM. Both provide the best experience IMO.

Fairly certain people’s heads will explode after this podcast.

  6. I had to go with the classics of IASW and SE. These are the quintessential Disney representations from each group.

HM was a very close second but c’mon what would EPCOT be without the golf ball?

  7. Nate, I have a feeling I know where this is going, but I don’t want to start yelling at my radio.

Ok, the term “quintessential Disney” has been thrown around a LOT the past few weeks and it is becoming crystal clear to me that everyone has a different defininition of it.

  8. It was an easy vote for me. TSM and HM all the way. And I’m with Nate, I’m getting sick of the Q word already.

What’s quintessential Disney to me is different than what is quintessential Disney to a DisDads with girls.

  9. Alright, I’ll modify my use of the Q word to a more appropriately defined explaination.

I had to go with the classics of IASW and SE. These are the nostalgic (for me) Disney representations from each group.

  10. Granted I thought the original use of the “Q” word was great… but when it was taking over and people start voting for the “Most Disney” thing vs. (what we should vote for) the “Disney Thing” that provides the BEST Experience. Sometimes these can be the same thing…

For example in Mickey Round 2 the Panel (and myself) Voted for Cinderella’s Castle over Star Tours.

The Castle is “Q” word Disney… I mean…someone says Disney World… the Castle is the first image that pops in my head. When they show the Castle at the beginning of a Disney’ Movie… I try to do the ol’ Blue’s Clues ska-doo into the screen.

Star Tour may be a “funner” attaction… 3D Technology and Great Themeing and all… but for me… Star Tours does not provide the “experience” that simply seeing that Castle (from any vantage point) gives me… and apparently many others based on voting. Seeing the Castle is most often the Beginning and the End to my trips. And when it comes down to it… It’s a Motion Simulator similar to something which I used to ride at my local Mall.

  11. See Nate you are making my case for my votes now.

I may be shunned but I had 3 others with me so I won’t be marooned alone on my island with rum.
