Yesterday, Disney Cruise Lines announced four special California Coastal Cruises, sailing out of the Port of Los Angeles. The 7-night cruises will follow the California Coastal itinerary, visiting San Francisco, San Diego, and Ensenada, Mexico, and offers some outstanding port excursions of particular interest to Disney fans. But in addition to the standard excursions and experiences available on board the Disney Wonder, these sailings (Sept. 16, 23, 30 and Oct. 7, 2012) will also feature several unique Pixar-themed experiences.
The entire Pixar film library will be playing in the movie theaters on board the Disney Wonder, including the 3-D re-release of Finding Nemo, which will be new in theaters as these cruises begin. Guests will be able to enjoy presentations from Pixar artists and filmmakers, and will be offered sneak peeks at upcoming Pixar releases. The Wonder will feature a special exhibition featuring the art and artists of Pixar. And these sailings will feature the largest collection of Pixar characters, available to meet and greet passengers that has ever been assembled in one place. They’ll even be joining families for special dance parties on board! And each stateroom will also receive a limited-edition commemorative Pixar lithograph, created just for these sailings.
