Monday Poll: What’s your favorite online WDW trip planning resource?

Where do you head first online when you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World? Which site do you find most useful? Ultimately, which is your favorite? Tell us why you chose what you chose in the comments, and you’ll be entered automatically in a drawing to win a $25 gift certificate to Shula’s Steak House in the Walt Disney World Dolphin (often called the best steak on Disney property). Only one entry is permitted per person (if you comment more than once, you still only get one chance to win). The drawing will take place at midnight on Friday, July 22nd, 2011 (so that I can identify thge winner in my Friday Five post). If the winner does not respond to their award notification within 48 hours, a new winner will be selected. No purchase necessary to enter – just your comment.

  1. Love Mousesavers! They seem to always be on top of the latest greatest discounts and new of the World. Actually used them as a reference in a paper I wrote for my English CompII class. Very good resource. Allears is a good one too but I tend to use Mousesavers as it is easier to navigate for me. All of these choices are good you just need to go to each one and find the one that is right for you.

  2. Tough question since it depends on what I’m researching. I use Mousesavers to find discounts on ticket media, AllEars for dining info and the Disboards for all other wonky questions I might come up with.

  3. I actually tend to mostly just use Disboards.com. I usually can find the answers to anything I am trying to find there. I always price out trips on Disney’s site though that can be maddening. For a top tier company their website can be mind numbingly slow and glitchy.

  4. I honestly use them all in some way. My vote goes to touringplans.com though because I love their calendar setup with the crowd tracker and hours. The format just makes it a really handy tool to reference when planning days.

I’ll give a nod to allears.net too, and of course the disboards at wdwinfo.com.

  5. Just signed up with Touringplans for our Jan trip, and we’re liking it so far. TourGuideMike was good also (but $20)… Agree with all above on Mousesavers, it’s free and great, so I’m going to vote for them…

  6. I know this is supposed to be a conversation on the ones we like, but I just want to comment that I paid for a subscription to TourGuideMike and I wish I didn’t. It isn’t that the site is bad, but the information on it is dated and can be found just about anywhere. Not worth the $, IMO.

  7. I use several, but I’d have to say wdwinfo.com is my favorite, followed by disneyworld.com and mousesavers.
