Monday Poll: Which holiday celebration would you most like experience at Walt Disney World?

Careful now – the question is which celebration you would most like to experience, not just the one you’ve done and liked the most. Do you dream of a romantic New Year’s Eve in Epcot, just you and your spouse? Maybe the extra-special fireworks (even in Disney’s Hollywood Studios) and extended hours of the 4th of July are more your style. Or perhaps getting to spend quality time with the Disney Villains makes you long to celebrate Halloween in the Magic Kingdom (even if you do have to pay extra for the party). And, of course, you can’t forget the magic of Christmas decorations all over Walt Disney World. On top of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party there’s the Candlelight Processional, the Osborne Family Lights, the gingerbread houses . . .

If you could only choose one, which of those holiday experiences would you most like to try? Tell us about your choice in the comments.

  1. I haven’t seen any of these celebrations (yet). My first choice would be Christmas. The decorations and special events just look amazing.

  2. I’ve done 4th of July… fun but hot and crowded. I could take it or leave it.

I voted for Christmas. I don’t think I’d want to be there on the actual day, but I want to experience the decorations and celebrations that Disney does for the season. I look forward to being able to go this year to experience it the week after Thanksgiving!

  3. I have been for Christmas several times and now that my DD 4 shares a bday with Walt himself December 5th i will be doing a lot of December trips including this year for her 5th bday. I still always wanted to go in OCT.

  4. Christmas would be great, but my ultimate would be in October to experience Food & Wine and the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party with my family.
